Visual Scheduler

Q: How can I, as a competition manager, view and move matches within my competitions?

The Visual Scheduler allows competition managers to select a competition, compare against other competitions and move matches as required, including removing any clashed matches.

  1. Competition Management > Visual Scheduler
  2. Click into Competition you want to move matches for
  3. Option to select competitions to compare
    • Competitions that share the same venues of this competition will appear in the drop down list (even if not managed by your competition)
    • Competition managers can only move matches for the competition you originally selected. These matches will be clickable and can be dragged/dropped to a new venue and/or time.
    • Venues will display Fields as per the competition setup (i.e. full field, 1/2 field or 1/4 field).
  4. You search filter by Round and/or scroll through all dates at the bottom of the page
  5. You can "Add Venues"
    • This will show you additional competitions in the dropdown that use this venue.
    • Allows competition managers to drag and drop to new venue/fields.
    • You add the whole venue, i.e. if there are 3 fields setup for the venue then all 3 fields will appear in the Visual Scheduler (Venue 1, Venue 2, Venue 3).

When using the Visual Scheduler

  • 'No match found for this round' error displays when they have been no matches created for the competition.
  • You can only move matches in the competition selected.
  • Any matches in 'NA' venue have not been assigned a venue and need to be allocated one.
  • Any matches that are clashes will appear in red and pink stripes. When you move a clashed match and 'unclash' it, the red stripes will be removed.
  • Venues will display in alphabetical order.
  • If you hover over a match, it will provide both home and away team details.
  • Matches block out a venue as per the national competition type settings (age level, game duration and playing area).
  • Visual Scheduler will show venue block out dates in red.
  • After you have made changes to matches, don't forget to click "Update Schedule" to save all changes. Saved changes will flow through to Competition Management > Matches and be reflected in Rugby Xplorer app, Rugby Xplorer websites and Rugby Match Day app.
