Finals Matches

Q: How can I, as competition manager, create final matches?
  • There are no finals fixture algorithms that can be setup in Rugby Xplorer.
  • You need to create your finals fixtures individually by clicking "create match" or as part of the draw import template.
  1. Competition Management > Matches > Create Match
  2. Select the Competition from the dropdown
  3. Round Type: Finals
  4. Round Number: should be the next one after your regular fixtures. For example, 14 rounds + finals, so first round of finals would be 15. 
  5. Add in Venue, or can leave blank
  6. Add Date and Time
  7. Tick "TBA" so you are not required to select the teams 
  8. Click "Save"

Note

  • Competition managers may need to adjust the number of rounds in your competitions to include finals rounds. This round number needs to include both regular and finals fixtures.
