Store Settings
Q: How can I, as an entity admin, add and update my Store Settings?
Note
- Updating your entity's Store Settings will enable you to inherit different features so they do not need to be added for each product.
- Products > Store Settings
- Click through the available Tabs to update
- Storefront
- Site Menu
- Testimonials
- Product Types
- Terms
- Features
- Cards & Limits
Storefront
- How this store looks to a customer. Every field here is optional: the colours and the logo fall back to the entity's own, and anything else left empty is simply not drawn.
- Products > Store Settings > Storefront
- Select your Store Colours
- Add in Website address
- Add Logo and Description
- Add Cover Picture and Description
- Add Line under the Products
- Click "Save"
- The receipt a customer is emailed after they pay. Both pictures are optional: left empty, the receipt keeps the ones set on the national, and it is painted in the store's own colours.
- Products > Store Settings > Email
- Add Picture at the Top and Description
- Add Picture at the Bottom and Description
- Add Name and Contact Details
- You can have different names and contact details for each product type offered.
- Click "Save"
Site Menu
- Logo links to: where a click on the logo at the top left goes. The entity's website uses the website set for the entity; with none set, the logo goes to the store. The store always goes to the store's products.
- Store Link: the link to the store's products, always the last item of the menu. Rename it to fit what the store sells, such as Memberships. Left empty, it reads Store.
- Turn off 'Show in menu' to hide it, for example when the site menu already has its own link to the store.
- The entity's own menu, drawn across the top of the store so a customer can get back to the rest of the site.
- Under puts a link inside another one's drop down.
- Only one level deep: a link that is already under another cannot hold more.
- The link back to the store itself is always added, so it needs no row here.
- Products > Store Settings > Site Menu
- Choose where the logo links to
- Decide if 'store link' displays in the menu
- Click "+ Add link"
- Add Title, Address and Under
- Click "Save"
Footer
- The foot of every store page: a logo and a line about the entity, columns of links, a strip of small links and the copyright.
- Columns work like the site menu: a top level row is a column heading, and the rows under it are its links. A heading with an address and no links is a link of its own.
- The copyright line starts with the current year, so it never goes out of date. Left empty, it names the entity. A store with nothing here has no footer.
- Products > Store Settings > Footer
- Upload Footer logo
- Describe the logo
- Select Footer colours
- Update Line under the logo
- Add Copyright holder
- Click "+ add Link" for columns and bottom links
- Click "Save"
Testimonials
- Members saying why they joined, drawn three across under the products.
- Products > Store Settings > Testimonals
- Click "+ Add Testimonials"
- Upload Picture, add What they Said and Who said it
- Optional Promotion Strip and Description
- Click "Save"
Product Types
- Which of the product types this store offers. Untick one and it disappears from the product form; the products already using it stay untouched.
- A type missing from the list altogether does not apply to this national at all, and only master-admin can make changes to the national list.
- Products > Store Settings > Product Types
- Dependent on what the master admin has enabled for the national, the entity can choose to offer each Product Type
- Click "Save"
Terms
- Each time a customer checks out, they will be required to agree to the Terms.
- By adding the Terms in the Store Settings, they will be inherited by each product.
- If a product adds it's own terms, it replaces the Store Setting inherited ones.
- Products > Store Settings > Terms
- Select Type, add Text before the link, add Link text and Link address
- Click "Save"
Features
- Uses the same Feature wording on all products for consistency.
- Note, the icon travels with the feature.
- Products > Store Settings > Features
- Select Icon, Feature, Listing Card and Product Page
- Listing Card: whether the feature is shown on the product's card in the listing, where the store's products sit side by side. Room is short there, so it suits the main selling points.
- Product Page: whether the feature is shown on the product's own page, where the full list fits.
- Click "Save"
Cards & Limits
- Ability to select Card colours, button colours, max images, quantities and see a preview of the card.
- Products > Store Settings > Cards & Limits
- Select Card Colours from dropdown and/or pick the colours yourself
- Select Button Colours from dropdown and/or pick the colours yourself
- Add Max images per product
- How many gallery pictures the product form accepts. The tightest limit wins between this store and its national.
- Add Max quantity per line
-
The most of one option a buyer can choose in an order. Empty uses the national's, or 15.
-
A national may set it higher or lower; a store can only lower its national's. For a cap on a whole product, use Max per order on the product.

- Review the preview on the right hand side
- Click "Save"
Purchase Allowances
- Allowances a product can be limited. Each one shows up under 'Who can buy' on the product form, for every store in this national.
- Allowance ID is a short name, letters and numbers only with no spaces. Don't change it once users have a number: they would lose it.
- Shown as is what customers read on the padlock.
- How many each user can buy is set in Users Management > Edit. A user without a number cannot buy.
- Products > Store Settings > Purchase allowances
- Click "+ Add allowance"
- Add Allowance ID
- Add Shown as
- Click "Save"
