My Products

Q: How can I setup products that I, as an entity admin, wish to sell via my Rugby Xplorer store?

Note

  • Product Types are determined for each national by the master admin.
  • Entity admins can further restrict the products available in your Store Settings.
  • Pick Type first, as this determines which fields this product has.

Products

  1. Products > My Products
  2. Click "Create Product"
  3. Select Type = Product
  4. Details tab
    • Display Order: sorted by lowest number at the top.
    • Choose Active to display on Store (or change to Inactive to hide from Store).
    • Enter Title
    • Enter Subtitle
    • Enter Details
    • Enter Sizes (separated by a comma)
    • Choose if Shipping is included
    • Click "Save"
  5. Pricing tab
    • Click "+ Add Pricing Option"

      • If left blank, the product has no limit.
    • Products default ticked for Active
    • Repeat "+ Add Pricing Option" as required
    • Click "Save"
  6. Availability tab
    • Enter Available number

Note

  • This is how many are left for the whole product, whichever pricing option they are bought as, e.g. Pricing Option 1, Pricing Option 2, etc. all draw from this same number.
  • A pricing option can also have a stock of its own, on the Pricing tab, for a product sold in sizes. Both limits apply, and the tighter one is what runs out first.
    • Add Sales Window Open and Close dates
    • Click "Save"
  1. Features tab
    • Click "+ Write a one off" or select from catalogue dropdown
    • Click "Save"

    • Select Button Colours from dropdown and/or pick the colours yourself
    • Select Primary and/or Secondary Button options
    • Click "Save"

Note

  • Two buttons at most, on the card and on the product page.
  • What a button does is a fixed list, the site has to know where to send the customer, while what it says is editable.
  • The first button follows the mode:
    • Sale: opens the checkout with this product in it.
    • Link: goes to the link URL. The site says nothing about what happens there.
    • External checkout: the sale is completed on the purchase URL: the site names that destination, asks the customer to sign in first and records the order here as pending.
    • Display: greyed out, nothing to press: the product is announced and not sold.
  • The second button opens the product page, another link, or is switched off. A link left empty falls back to the product page.
  • An empty label is not an empty button: it uses the site's default wording, shown as the placeholder.

  • What the customer ends up holding.
  • Fixed date is one day for everybody, end of season follows the season, event date follows a date on this product, never expires suits merchandise.
  • Duration from purchase is the only one the purchase cannot work out yet: a 12 month membership bought in March would still get the date below.
